Tuna Tartare

Tartare and Ceviches are ideal for those who love raw fish. This recipe is simple and tasty, you must use fresh ingredients.

Also, this recipe is perfect as part of a high blood pressure diet, or for those who want to reduce the consumption of meat and increase fish intake per week.

TUNA TARTARE – Special for People with High Blood Pressure. 

You will need 2 fillets of raw tuna finely chopped, 1 onion finely chopped, 1 avocado, 1 tablespoon of mustard, 2 tablespoons of lime juice, 2 Lettuce leaves, 3 springs of coriander finely chopped, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar,  and a pinch of freshly ground black pepper and cayenne pepper.

Place all the ingredients in a bowl except the lettuce, lime juice, avocado and leave to marinate for about 15 minutes, don’t forget to stir frequently.  Serve the tartare on a bed of lettuce and add slices of avocado.

You can twist the recipe by adding other ingredients, such as replacing red onion with white onion or add 1/2  red chili pepper to add a special kick or 2 cloves of garlic.
